Christian Beliefs in God
-
There is only one God
-
God is a Trinity (but three God) of Father, Son and Holy Spirit
-
God is perfect
-
God is omnipotent
-
God is everywhere (but he lived in Palestine)
-
God knows everything (but he did not know about his last
times, he could not save himself from the Cross)
-
God created the universe
-
God keeps the universe going
-
God intervenes in the universe
-
God loves everyone unconditionally
-
Human beings can get to know God through prayer, worship, love, and
mystical experiences . (so God (Jesus) prayed the God (the Father))
-
Human beings can get to know God through God's grace—that is through his
love and his power
God the Son
-
God lived on earth as Jesus
-
Jesus was both wholly God and wholly human (How can be
mortal (God Jesus died on the cross) and immortal at the same time )
-
Jesus was born to a human woman, Mary, but conceived of the Holy Spirit. (How
can or how did?)
-
Because Jesus was wholly human he was subject to pain, suffering, and
sorrow like other human beings (What a absurd notion ;
Why can not the God see the pain from the above. )
-
Jesus was executed by crucifixion but rose from the dead at the
Resurrection. (So the God died. then how can you call
him a God? God cannot die)
-
Jesus's life provides a perfect example of how God wants people to live. (unfortunately
there is not much life account of Jesus can be seen in the today's bible, only
his last three years can be seen )
-
Jesus died on the Cross so that those who believe in him will be forgiven
all their sins (What about the previous generation who
passed away before the advent of Jesus, that include Abraham, Moses and other
mighty prophets, Will God forgive them or not?)
God the Holy Spirit
-
After the Resurrection, Jesus remained on earth for only a few days before
going up into Heaven
-
Jesus promised that he would stay with his followers, so after he went to
Heaven he sent his Spirit to guide them
-
The Holy Spirit continues to guide, comfort, and encourage Christians
