Dr. Zakir
Abdul-Karim Naik, President of the Islamic
Research Foundation (IRF), is a dynamic
‘da’ee’ and internationally renowned
orator on Islam and Comparative Religion. He is
the main driving spirit, Alhamdulillah, behind
the IRF’s striving and acclaim for the proper
presentation, understanding and clarification of
Islam, as well as removing misconceptions about
Islam. Though a medical doctor by professional
training he has turned around to spread the
truth of Islam to millions worldwide.
At only 36 years, Dr. Zakir
explains the teachings of Islam and convincingly
clears misconceptions about Islam based on
Qur’an and authentic Hadith with reason, logic
and science. He quotes extensively and verbatim
from the Glorious Qur’an and other religious
scriptures.
Dr. Zakir is more famous for his critical
analysis and spontaneous and convincing answers
to challenging questions posed by the audiences
and sceptics after his public talks, in the open
Question & Answer sessions. He has
delivered more than 600 public talks in the last
six years in the U.S.A., Canada, Britain, Saudi
Arabia, U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, South
Africa, Mauritius, Australia, Malaysia,
Singapore, Hongkong, Thailand, Guyana (South
America) and several other countries, in
addition to many public talks in India. Many of
these talks are available on Video and Audio
cassettes.
He has, Alhamdulillah, successfully
overcome challenges from prominent personalities
of other faiths in dialogues and debates. His
most famous debate was held in Chicago, U.S.A.
on April 1, 2000 with an American Medical Doctor
and Missionary, Dr. William Campbell, on the
topic, “The Bible and the Qur’an in the
light of Science”.
Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, the world
famous orator on Islam and Comparative Religion,
who had called Dr. Zakir, Deedat plus in 1994,
presented a plaque in May 2000 to Dr. Zakir for
his achievement in the field of Da’wah and the
study of Comparative Religion with the engraving
“Son what you have done in 4 years had taken
me 40 years to accomplish – Alhamdullilah.”
Dr. Zakir appears regularly on many
international T.V. and Satellite T.V. Channels
in more than 100 countries of the world. He is
regularly invited for T.V. and Radio interviews.
He has authored books on Islam and Comparative
Religion.
