says about FRUITS
Miraculous Survival
Genesis 1:12,16 Plants began to grow before there was sunlight.
The
Bible (Genesis
1:11-19) has fruit
trees and other
plants created one
day before the
sun, but that is
impossible. The
earth without the
sun would have
been an
inhospitable place
for such plants as
fruit trees. They
could not have
survived under
such conditions
for one minute,
let alone a whole
day.
Which is first
According to Genesis 1:12,21, there were fruit trees on the earth before there were any animals, but the fossil record proves that there were many animals on the earth hundreds of millions of years before there were any fruit trees.
Genesis 1:11-12, 26-27 Trees were created before man was created.Genesis 2:4-9 Man was created before trees were created.
Magical Tree
Genesis describes magical things and events, such as magical trees (Genesis 2:9, 3:24), But we know that there never were such things or events.
Bible says All Fruits are Eatable
"And God said, Behold. I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat " ( Genesis Chapter1: verse 29 )
Our Question :
Humans cannot eat all fruits because many fruits are poisonous. Every plant and tree which yield seed are given to us by God as good to eat. This would include poisonous plants such as hemlock, buckeye pod, nightshade, oleander.
But God says that all fruits are eatable. Is it a God's mistake or human mistake? Will God tell such things?
Now compare Qur'an, it says :
Progress in Botany at the time of Muhammad was in no country advanced enough for it to be established as a rule that plants have both male and female parts.
" [God is the One who] sent water down from the sky and thereby We brought forth pairs of plants each separate from the other " (Holy Qur'an 20:53)
Today, we know that fruits comes from plants that have sexual characteristics (even when it comes from unfertilized flowers, like bananas)
"Of fruits [God] placed [on the earth] two pair " (Holy Qur'an 13:3)
Here the Holy verse telling about a established fact, 21st century discovery, with simple explanation in 500 A.D. How can Muhammad (pbuh) proclaim such a fact? How did he know about this fact? He was a unlettered person. He was not a scientist ? Many books which came after Muhammad (pbuh) were went to the dust bin due to its incompatibility with the modern knowledge . then how can the 5 century Qur'an can stand with the modern knowledge ? that is because it is the Word of God.
