What bible and Qur'an says about Light
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1: verse 1-5)
And God made two greet lights ; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also .
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day (Genesis 1: 14 -19)
Cross Question :
Here the Holy Bible tells that God created the light on the first day, Bible says that God created the Sun on the fourth day .Is not a miracle ? Without the Sun how did they got the light? light comes from the Sun. Without sun there cannot be no function because all are based on sun and its light and power. This is scientifically unacceptable to believe ? Isn't it ? before the creation of the stars which produce this light ; the existence of an evening and a morning before the creation of the Earth ; the creation of the Earth on the third day before that of the Sun on the fourth day. So surely this cannot be the God's word at all. these statements are the result of beliefs prevalent at the time this text was written and do not have any other meaning.
